เมื่อวันที่ 3 – 6 พ.ค. 59 คณะนักวิจัย HITAP เข้าร่วมการประชุมวิชาการประจำปี ครั้งที่ 5 ของ เครือข่ายการประเมินเทคโนโลยีด้านสุขภาพแห่งภูมิภาคเอเชีย หรือ 5th HTAsiaLink Annual Conference 2016 จัดโดย The Ministry of Health, Singapore, the Health Services Research department of the Eastern Health Alliance และ the Health Services Research Institute of SingHealth มีหัวข้อการประชุม คือ The role of Health technology assessment in ensuring value for public investment.” มีผู้เข้าร่วมประชุม 140 คน จาก 14 ประเทศ
วัตถุประสงค์ที่สำคัญในการประชุมครั้งนี้คือ การแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ด้าน HTA จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากประเทศต่างๆ และ การนำเสนอผลงานวิชาการจากนักวิจัยรุ่นใหม่อีกด้วย หลังจากเสร็จสิ้นการนำเสนอมีการมอบรางวัลให้กับผู้นำเสนอยอดเยี่ยมดังนี้
ผู้ที่ได้รับรางวัลการนำเสนอยอดเยี่ยมในหัวข้อ Economic Evaluation ได้แก่
1. Steven Yingpeng Qiu หัวข้อ Cost-effectiveness analysis of Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate nucleotide antiviral therapy for chronic hepatitis B patients in China หน่วยงาน China National Health Development Research Center จากประเทศจีน
2. วันทนีย์ กุลเพ็ง หัวข้อ Cholangiocarcinoma screening program in Thailand: a cost-utility analysis หน่วยงาน Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP) จากประเทศไทย
3. Mohamed Ismail Abdul Aziz หัวข้อ Cost-effectiveness of nucleos(t)ide analogues for treatment of hepatitis B หน่วยงาน Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) จากประเทศสิงคโปร์
ผู้ที่ได้รับรางวัลการนำเสนอยอดเยี่ยมในหัวข้อ Health Systems Research (HSR) ได้แก่

การประชุม HTAsiaLink ครั้งที่ 6 จะจัดขึ้นที่ประเทศเวียดนาม
