Miss Sitaporn Youngkong is a pharmacist and health economist, who is currently a researcher of Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP). She is holding a bachelor of Pharmacy from Chiangmai University and a master in Hospital Pharmacy from Mahidol University (her master thesis entitled “Cost of cerebral infarction in societal perspective: a case study at Prasat neurological Institute”). She was a lecturer at Srinakharinwirot University during 1997-2007. In 2006, she was invited by International Health Policy Program (IHPP) to join in its projects including HITAP establishment. During 2007-2011, she has been awarded a fellowship by World Health Organization to pursue her PhD study at Radboud University, the Netherlands, where she received her PhD in Medical Sciences (her PhD thesis entitled “Multi-criteria decision analysis for priority setting of health interventions in Thailand”). Her interest includes Discrete Choice Experiments, Mulit-criteria decision analysis, Priority setting in health care, and Health economics.
