Roongnapa Khampang, PhD.

Roongnapa Khampang, PhD. graduated from Masstricht University where she first learned about research in the field of public health. After her graduation, she started working in HITAP as a data collector for a project of HITAP and was promoted to a research assistant thereafter. She was interested in epidemiological research. After working for 2 years, she continued her study in the field of epidemiology and finished her Ph.D in 2015. She beliefs that doing researcher is a way to generate robust evidence to support policy decision making. Research is important in all stages of policy process.
