Mission Report: Review of HTA Studies on Treatment of End Stage Renal Disease and Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension in Indonesia

A five-day workshop held in Jakarta at the end of October 2015 reviewed and finalized two health technology assessment (HTA) studies in Indonesia. The studies, commissioned by Indonesia’s HTA Committee, were conducted by its Persons in Charge (PICs) in collaboration with Thailand’s Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP). Two topics, one related to the treatment of End Stage Renal Disease and the other related to the treatment of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, were selected for an in depth economic evaluation and budget impact analysis due to their relevance to Indonesia.
