Chanida Lertpitakpong studied public health at Mahidol University. She started working at Payao province under the project ‘Policies to mitigate the economic impact of chronic HIV morbidity on household in Northern Thailand’. In 2000, she worked at Siriraj hospital for ‘A randomized trial of micronutrient in HIV infected Thai patient’ as a research assistant. Thence she decided to learn in mater degree of Population and Social Research at Mahidol University. While she was learning mater degree, she studied the economic loss of traffic accident during New Year Day 2002, Thailand as well as getting a chance for working in the project ‘adolescent migrants and reproductive health in greater Mekong region’. After she completed her thesis in 2004, she had worked as a curriculum developer for reducing HIV/AIDS among young adolescents through the use of life skills and risk and protective factor approach in counseling and other settings project at the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health which supported by Thai MOPH-US CDC Collaborate. Now she is working as a research assistant at Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP) under the International Health Policy Program.
